Gloucestershire
There was a very large family of Holliers at Moreton in the Marsh, Gloucestershire in the 19th century. They were butchers and grocers. The oldest member of the family was William Hollier born c1793 in Ledwell, Oxfordshire. Before that the line goes back via Duns Tew, Over Worton and Deddington in Oxfordshire.

Any Holliers found in the Wickwar area are likely to be mistranscriptions of the Hallier family centred on that location. No definite link to any Hollier family has been found to date.
